Get into Teaching event - hosted by i2i - Saturday 27th April 9.30-11.30am

If you are considering a career in Teaching then please do join us at Weydon School for a 'Get into Teaching' event for people considering training to be a teacher.
This drop-in event will be supported by the area's most successful teacher training providers including the i2i Teaching Partnership SCITT, representing Secondary training across Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire and St Polycarp's teacher training, representing Primary training in Surrey & Hampshire.
Teachers and teacher training experts will be on hand to answer questions about
- routes into teaching,
- gaining school experience,
- the application and interview process
The event will be held in the i2i SCITT's Training and Conference room at Weydon School and will be showcasing its own teacher training programme which includes the vast majority of subjects across the secondary curriculum. For those thinking about training to teach across Surrey, West London, Hampshire and Berkshire through the school-led approach, this will be a 'must attend' event.
Open to all members of the public in other careers, university students, graduates who have not yet settled on a career and to those already working in schools. (Please note that in order to train to teach you need to hold a Degree.)
