Just Different Day - 10th May

For Just Different Day Years 3, 4 and 5 attended workshops led by two presenters from the charity ‘Being Different’. The charity aims to challenge and change outdated and sometimes misguided perceptions of those who are disabled or different. The presenters Helen and Toby, were both born with cerebral palsy and use voice synthesisers to speak. It was wonderful for the children to realise that although these presenters appeared different they were essentially just like them with likes and dislikes, hobbies and interests.
